81 men per company gives 9 section of 8 men including Section Leader, which is 72 men plus Company Commander, Deputy Company Commander, 3 Platoon Commanders, 1 Intelligence Officer, 1 Transport Officer, 1 Quartermaster, 1 Assistant QM

A reasonably accurate number for the total number of men who joined the ADRIC is 2131. Arrived at by taking 2214 numbers issued , then taking into account men with 2 service numbers (50) , men with no service number (3) , men who never became operational (36). Occasional strength statements were made to the House of Commons which agree reasonably well with these numbers
