1913 Nov 25. Hon Lt and Quartermaster RM Record Sergeant-Major Edward James Sullivan to be Quartermaster, with the honorary rank of Lieutenant , vice Mitchell retired .

1914. Portsmouth Battalion Quartermaster at Ostend & Antwerp 1914.

1915 Feb 28. Quartermaster Portsmouth Battalion MEF

1918 May 28.. Qrmr. and Hon. Lieut. Edward James Sullivan to be placed on the ret. list on account of age

1920 Aug 31. Joined ADRIC with service no 445 and posted to Depot

1920 Sep 10. Promoted Section Leader (Stores)

1920 Nov 5 . He was Quartermaster Sgt and issued a revolver to T/Cadet A G Earle, who subsequent lost it. Involved in the case of Constable C H Biddle and his attempt to sell a service revolver. Involved were T/C EJ Sullivan, DI2 (he was a S/l on the date of the offence) T Sparrow, DI2 EJ Trim

1921 Apr 16. Posted to G Coy as CQM

1921 Jun 19. Posted to S Coy as CQM. Reverted to T/Cadet

1922 Jan 19. Discharged on demobilisation of ADRIC

1928 Apr/Jun Died in Alverstoke, Hants aged 65
