This is a poser.
We can find his birth reg as Anthony William Q2 1882 and we can find his marriage in 1904 as Anthony William, giving his father as David.
There is also a baptism of Anthony William on 5 Mar 1893 aged 12, son of David & Anne of Upper Weeg, baptised with Ada Eliza Jane Jandrell aged 19.
There are problems with this:
So her baptism data are definitely wrong. And I have good reason to doubt Anthony William's baptism data also.
The possibilities are:
Option 1 implies that there are three different sets of Jandrell offspring being baptised that day -
Option 2 assumes errors in two different records - which is improbable but less likely.
Option 3 relies - as do the others - on the registrar having made a complete mess of his day's transcriptions - but I think it is the most likely.
I can't square this circle, though.
