His early life is correct, but I loose him after 1911.
1885 Oct 12. Born Hampshire (correct with RIC Register). The official GRO says William Henry Hoar
1901 census at 153 New Rd, Portsmouth
His mother died and his father moved away. It seems that he and his sister stayed in the family home
1911 census at New Road East, Portsmouth. He is a Driller, which is also on RIC Register
