1914 Sep 23 enlists in Canadian Exp Force. He had previously served 5 years in RCHA

1914 Oct 3. Sailed to Europe with CEF

1916 Mar His wife went to London and he assigned pay to her until she reurned to Canada in Mar 1916, and payments to her stopped

1916 Jun 9 Sentenced bu FGCM to be rduced to the rankls from Cpl for being absent from billet

1917 Feb 23. Promoted Bombardier

1917 Sep 5. Promoted Cpl

1918 Feb 2. Promoted A/Sgt

1918 Apr 9 Sailed back to Canada

1918 Jul 2. Promoted Prov Sgt Major

1919 Mar 31 Discharged from RCHA in Canada

1920 Sep 20 Arrives UK from Canada

 

1920 Nov 2. Joined with RIC no 75066 & ADRIC no 150 ex-Soldier

1939 Register at Halliford House, Sunbury, he is a male attendant and single (correct dob)
