Constable Peter Rochford is best remembered for his love of the Ford car, but he was perhaps more remarkable as one of only two Irish members of the British Gendarmerie to have served in four different fighting forces:
the British Army, the Royal Irish Constabulary, the Palestine Gendarmerie
