The Guy Liddell Diaries, MI5's Director of Counterespionage notes that Nash was to go to the Bahamas "He is one of our Security Control Officers and is to go as Security Officer to the Bahamas. I doubt whether the Duke of Windsor will like the look of him. Nice fellow but not very exciting".
