1922 Apr 7 . Enlisted in Palestine Gendarmerie as a Constable.

1923 Jun 24 Arrives UK from Palestine, Gendarme

1923 Aug 18 leaves UK for Palestine. Police. 29 Carlisle Terrace, Plymouth

1927 Apr 14 arrives UK from Sudan. Police Superintendent

1927 Jul 15 leaves UK for Sudan. Police Superintendent

1933 Apr 3 . Arrives UK from Port Said . of 2 Portland Villas , Plymouth. Superintendent of Police

1933 Jul 8 leaves UK for Egypt. He is given as a Police Sergeant!

1939 Register He is living in St Germans, Cornwall. A Corporal in Military Police TA. He is single

1940 Apr 27 — S.M. Thomas John Oxley NASH (126825), C.M.P. Commissioned 2nd Lt in General List

1941 Jan 31 Moved from General List to Intelligence Corps

He then gets posted to Bahamas as Duke of Windsor's Security Officer . The Guy Liddell Diaries, MI5's Director of Counterespionage notes that Nash was to go to the Bahamas "He is one of our Security Control Officers and is to go as Security Officer to the Bahamas. I doubt whether the Duke of Windsor will like the look of him. Nice fellow but not very exciting".

1942 Dec 4 arrives Miami . He is a Major in British Army

1943 Jul 24 Marries in Nassau

1944 Dec 19 Arrives Miami from Bahamas

1945 Feb 20 arrives Miami from Bahamas by plane

1947 May 30 Relinquishes his commission. War Subs. Capt. T. J. O. NASH (126825) on account of disability, 3oth May 1947, and is granted the hon. rank of Maj. He somehow becomes Lt.Col in the papers on his death

1949 Died Plymouth
