1920 Apr 1 Resigns his commission 4th Bedf. and Herts. B.—Lt . A. T. Blackett, and retains the rank of Lt.

1922 Jan 4 A British Gendarmerie office headed by a newly appointed temporary adjutant, Captain A. Tyrell Blackett, was opened in the air ministry head-quarters, Adastral House on Kingsway, London, to administer the recruitment process.
