1919 Jun 3. Lt Geoffrey Gilbert, Lt RNVR arrives in UK from Port Said

1920 Nov 3. Joined ADRIC with service no 968. Posted to G Coy

1922 Jan 19. Discharged on demobilisation of ADRIC

1924 Apr 1. Lt in RNVR - Ulster Div with this seniority. This indicates that he probably went to Ulster after his discharge from the ADRIC

1927 Still in Navy List in Ulster

1929 Jan 10. Geoffrey Gilbert of right age leaves UK for Shanghai

1934 Nov 24. Sent to gaol in Hong Kong

1935. He then seems to have gone into publishing books, as "Tell the world publishing co". There was a booklet called Chinese Chow, in which he writes as "Chopsticks", with a guide to Chinese food

1937 Mar 2. He is on Jurors List for Hong Kong

It appears he died in Hong Kong, but I cannot see what happened to him in WW2. He does not appear on lists on men interned by Japs

1959 May Died and buried in Happy Valley, Hong Kong Island
