Curious one this. As far as I can see there is only one " Robt Ed Dalby " born 1891 in Yorkshire. But he seems not to have been an officer nor did he serve abroad and does not have a MIC. There is nothing on him in London Gazette as an officer, yet he appears to have enlisted in ADRIC and served there for over a year until it disbanded. My feeling is that this man joined the Black and Tans not ADRIC
