He went to Worcester College, Oxford as an Exhibitioner.

1917 Sep 2. Enters RNAS as a prob. Flight Officer.

1918 May 15. The undermentioned Prob. Flight Officers (late R.N.A.S.) are granted temp, commns. as 2nd Lts. (A. & S.) :— Vaughan Charles Simson Bach.

1925 May 3. Border crossing to USA from Canada. He is a "Government Secretary" and is traveling with his younger brother Theodore Fred, a mariner. Their father is Rev Charles Bach of Festen, of Leicester. +1925 May 16, Marries in Ohio

1927 May 10. Arrives in USA from UK to pick up his wife who has being staying with her mother in the US for a month

1929 Oct 14. Arrives back in UK with his wife and 2 children. They are living in Finchley.

1939 Mar 14 The undermentioned are granted commissions as Pilot Officers on probation. Vaughan Charles Simson BACH.

1939 Aug 31. The undermentioned Pilot Officers on probation are confirmed in their appointments and promoted to the rank of Flying Officer Vaughan Charles Simson BACH (72776).

1946 Jul 20. Died Northampton. Buried at Kilsby Churchkard, Northamptonshire, England. CWGC grave Son of the Revd. Charles Bach, M.A., and Winifred Bach; husband of Eleanor Ashley Bach, of Kilsby. Exhibitioner of Worcester College, Oxford. Also served in 1914-18 War.
