1915 Apr 20. Arrives un UK on SS Quillota. He is listed as a shipwrecked sailor from a ship torpedoed off Lundy Island,"SS South Point", age 16
South Point was a 3,837grt, British Merchantship. On the 27th March 1915 when 60 miles W from Lundy Island, Bristol Channel she was captured by German submarine U-28 shelled, torpedoed and sunk when on route from Cardiff for Philadelphia with a cargo of china clay..
