Arrested by the ADRIC, but shot "attempting to escape" by RIC. DI1 Guard gave evidence to show that the prisoner was in the hands of the RIC - in particular Sgt CJ Keeney) when he was shot. One should note that 3 more men were shot by RIC patrols with Sgt CJ Keeney - JJ McDonnell , Michael Hoade, William Walsh as well as Thomas Collins
